	The Creed		Τὸ Πιστεύω
1	I believe in one God,	1	Πιστεύω εἰς ἕνα Θεόν,
2	Father Almighty,	2	Πατέρα, Παντοκράτορα,
3	Creator of heaven and earth,	3	ποιητὴν οὐρανοῦ καὶ γῆς,
4	and of all things visible and invisible.	4	ὁρατῶν τε πάντων καὶ ἀοράτων.
5	And in one Lord Jesus Christ,	5	Καὶ εἰς ἕνα Κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν,
6	the only-begotten Son of God,	6	τὸν Υἱὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ τὸν μονογενῆ,
7	begotten of the Father	7	τὸν ἐκ τοῦ Πατρὸς γεννηθέντα
8	before all ages;	8	πρὸ πάντων τῶν αἰώνων·
9	Light of Light,	9	φῶς ἐκ φωτός,
10	true God of true God,	10	Θεὸν ἀληθινὸν ἐκ Θεοῦ ἀληθινοῦ,
11	begotten, not created,	11	γεννηθέντα, οὐ ποιηθέντα,
12	of one essence with the Father	12	ὁμοούσιον τῷ Πατρί,
13	through Whom all things were made.	13	δι' οὐ τὰ πάντα ἐγένετο.
14	Who for us men	14	Τὸν δι' ἡμᾶς τοὺς ἀνθρώπους
15	and for our salvation	15	καὶ διὰ τὴν ἡμετέραν σωτηρίαν
16	came down from heaven	16	κατελθόντα ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν,
17	and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit	17	καὶ σαρκωθέντα ἐκ Πνεύματος Ἁγίου
18	and the Virgin Mary	18	καὶ Μαρίας τῆς Παρθένου
19	and became man.	19	καὶ ἐνανθρωπήσαντα.
20	He was crucified for us	20	Σταυρωθέντα τε ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν
21	under Pontius Pilate,	21	ἐπὶ Ποντίου Πιλάτου,
22	and suffered and was buried;	22	καὶ παθόντα καὶ ταφέντα.
23	And He rose on the third day,	23	Καὶ ἀναστάντα τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρα
24	according to the Scriptures.	24	κατὰ τὰς Γραφάς.
25	He ascended into heaven	25	Καὶ ἀνελθόντα εἰς τοὺς οὐρανοὺς
26	and is seated at the right hand of the Father;	26	καὶ καθεζόμενον ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ Πατρός.
27	And He will come again with glory	27	Καὶ πάλιν ἐρχόμενον μετὰ δόξης
28	to judge the living and dead.	28	κρῖναι ζῶντας καὶ νεκρούς,
29	His kingdom shall have no end.	29	οὗ τῆς βασιλείας οὐκ ἔσται τέλος.
30	And in the Holy Spirit,	30	Καὶ εἰς τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ Ἅγιον,
31	the Lord, the Creator of life,	31	τὸ Κύριον, τὸ ζωοποιόν,
32	Who proceeds from the Father.	32	τὸ ἐκ τοῦ Πατρὸς ἐκπορευόμενον,
33	Who together with the Father and the Son is	33	τὸ σὺν Πατρὶ καὶ Υἱῷ συμπροσκυνούμενον
34	worshipped and glorified,	34	καὶ συνδοξαζόμενον, τὸ λαλῆσαν
35	Who spoke through the prophets.	35	διὰ τῶν προφητῶν.
36	In one, holy, catholic.	36	Εἰς μίαν, aγίαν, Καθολικὴν
37	and apostolic Church.	37	καὶ aποστολικὴν Ἐκκλησίαν.
38	I confess one baptism	38	Ὁμολογῶ ἓν βάπτισμα
39	for the forgiveness of sins.	39	εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν.
40	I look for the resurrection of the dead,	40	Προσδοκῶ ἀνάστασιν νεκρῶν.
41	and the life of the age to come. Amen.	41	Καὶ ζωὴν τοῦ μέλλοντος αἰῶνος. Ἀμήν.
